We at Vino Verve are passionate about wine – but our passion is driven as much by intellectual curiosity as it is from the pleasure derived from a bottle of wine.

It’s the story behind the wine – the people, the history, the culture, the terroir – which fascinates us.  Wine is a conduit through which we continually engage our passion for learning.

Our motto, if we had a motto, could well be these lines of Kipling’s:

I keep six honest serving men,
They taught me all I knew,
Their names are What and Why and When,
And How and Where and Who.
