The Sparkly Cork

It was one of those nights when you decide to try a couple different kinds of cabernet sauvignon.

This one was the Raphael 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon.

Very dry, black raspberry with a hint of cherry and a bit of I don’t know.. but the only word that comes into my head is leather…so it is probably a minerality.. or, I don’t know.. maybe tartaric acid.

And speaking of which…I loved the cork sparkles…

And yes, that was tartaric acid, but isn’t it pretty?
