North Dakota

Roughrider State

North Dakota started its wine adventures late into the game,  2002 to be precise, but it is making up for lost time.   In 8 years, 9 wineries have popped up throughout the state and more vineyards.  Growing cold acclimated hybrid varietals and using the local fruits of the high plains, North Dakota wines are starting to garner national attention having twice been featured on the Today Show.
